We currently have several non teaching vacancies in school. 

 

 

Vacancies

Out of School Club Assistant Vacancy

 

5 X 2 ½ hour sessions at Grade 4 SCP 4. This is 12 ½ hours in total or it can be split if necessary. (Hourly Rate £9.55)  Hours from 3.00 until 5.30pm.

 

You will be expected to create high quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.

Specific Duties

  • To put safeguarding at the heart of your practice
  • To supervise and interact with children undertaking planned activities
  • To have a positive attitude towards children
  • To show sensitivity to the needs of all children
  • To support children in areas of personal hygiene, such as toileting and changing nappies, hand washing and good personal hygiene skills and routines
  • To assist in the development of independent social skills
  • To report a child's problems/achievements to the Club Manager/parents as necessary
  • To administer basic/paediatric first aid where appropriately trained

 

This role is created to support children from Nursery through to Year 6 by supervising and interacting with them.

 

Breakfast Club Assistant Vacancy

 

5 X ½ hour sessions at Grade 4 SCP 4. This is 2 ½ hours in total (Hourly Rate £9.55) Hours from 7.30am until 8.00 am.

 

You will motivate the children in Breakfast Club to have a positive start to their day.

Specific Duties

  • To put safeguarding at the heart of your practice
  • Welcome children into Breakfast Club and assist with their breakfasts as appropriate
  • To support children in areas of personal hygiene, handwashing and good table manners
  • To assist in the development of independent social skills
  • To report a child's problems/achievements to the Club Manager/parents as necessary
  • To administer basic/paediatric first aid where appropriately trained

 

Please note that this is not a catering vacancy. This role is created to support children from Nursery through to Year 6 by supervising and interacting with them. This is to promote a good start to the children's day and enjoy breakfast time.

 

 

Welfare Vacancy

 

5 X 1 hour sessions at Grade FLW SCP 1. This is 5 hours in total (Hourly Rate £9.30) Hours from 12.00 until 1.00 pm

 

The role is to secure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during lunch time.

Specific Duties

  • To put safeguarding at the heart of your practice
  • To supervise children during lunch
  • To have a positive attitude towards children
  • To show sensitivity to the needs of all children
  • To have the ability to work as part of a lunchtime team.
  • To have common sense and initiative.
  • To help to organise and participate in playground games
  • To manage behaviour in accordance with the school behaviour policy

 

 

 

 

All positions are term time only and initially temporary until July 2021, with a view to becoming permanent.
