  • Bingo Bonanza!

    We raised a massive £900 at last night's Easter Bingo. Huge thanks to the PTA for organising the event, the Thompson's at Turnover Hall Farm for the use of their facilities and to everyone who attended and supported school.

    A great dress rehearsal for Beech Class this morning. Their retelling of The Donkey's Tale is going to be fabulous this afternoon. What a wonderful way to begin the Easter break. You are all welcome at 2pm in church.

  • Garstang Library Visitor

    Kate from Garstang Library visited us to talk about how to become a member and what the reading Trail involves. She shared lots of exciting books and had all the children keen to visit and join. Well done to Edward for achieving his Library Reading certificate.

    They have been busy in Nursery this afternoon with a fundamental skills PE lesson delivered by Fleetwood Town staff. Lots of fun being had by everyone!

  • Bug Man

    Children in Early Years have had an exciting 2 days during Science week. Yesterday they had a visit from the Bug Man and had the opportunity to learn about and hold a python, land snail, stick insect, millipede, butterfly, tarantula and hissing cockroach! They are definitely braver than Mrs. Carroll! Today they are busy making lava lamps. So much science knowledge being shared and learnt!

    Great fun in worship this morning; as part of Science Week we were investigating how strong eggs are and why? Their arch shape makes them strong enough for some of the Science Ambassadors to walk over without breaking! Thank you Miss James for leading such a fabulous assembly.

  • Last Choir Singing

    A huge well done to our choir who participated in Last Choir Singing Competition last Tuesday at Marine Hall, Fleetwood. They sang their hearts out and were amazing; they were all winners in our eyes. What an experience for you all singing in front of such a large audience!

    We ended World Book Day with paired reading. Children buddied up with a different age group and shared stories; a lovely end to a day filled with reading and books.

    We started World Book Day with a phonics and reading workshop for our parents, demonstrating how lessons run and how the children learn. It's great to see so many engaging and joining in with us.
