School Meals
School meals follow Lancashire County Council menus and are payable via ParentPay. Lunches are currently charged at £3.00 (correct at Sept 2026). Children in Reception, Years 1 and 2 are entitled to government-funded meals (Universal Infant Free School Meals). Those children in Nursery are charged at £3.00 as it is not a maintained setting.
Free school meals are offered to children of families who are in receipt of:
- Universal Credit with yearly household earnings of £7,400 or less (Targeted FSM)
- Families receiving Universal Credit with earnings above £7,400 (Expanded FSM)
- Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
- Income related Employment and Support Allowance
From September 2026 all households receiving Universal Credit, regardless of household income, will qualify for free school meals.
