Year 3 /4 Football Team
Thu 07 May 2026Well done to our Year 3/4 football team for competing in the Poolfoot Farm competition last Friday. 33 teams took part including some really big primaries. The children played 5 games. 4 match games and one friendly. Despite the awful weather, they showed great resilience and improved each time. Excellent defending, super saves and excellent sportsmanship all round.

Well done to Phoebe Jean and Finlay for your fantastic achievements outside of school, receiving swimming awards and Miss Squirrel for super listening and following instructions so well. We are very proud of you all!
Congratulations to our netball team who played last night — 2 wins out of 3 and second place overall! Well done, girls — you showed great skill and teamwork!

Lancashire Sings
Thu 30 Apr 2026Willow Class had an enjoyable time participating in Lancashire Sings last week alongside approximately 350 other children from various schools. The children have worked hard practising 14 songs, which they performed with great enthusiasm. They were congratulated by Katie and the Lancashire Sings' team for their effort and fantastic attitude. They looked very cool in their yellow sunglasses too!

Easter Lunch Visitors
We were delighted to welcome several members of the committee to join us for Easter lunch yesterday. It was lovely to see some new faces alongside our more familiar friends.
Willow Class enjoyed singing to everyone after lunch and have been busy practising their songs for Lancashire Sings — we can’t wait to hear them perform
