A fun and busy week!
We are so proud of all our children and our school community this week. We began on Monday with a lovely worship led by Mr Wilkinson, reflecting on Lent and thinking about letting go of things that distract us or prevent us from developing a deeper relationship with God. Thank you to Ellie for helping to demonstrate this important message.
Yesterday we had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day and sharing our love of books. The children looked fabulous in their pyjamas and were all ready to cuddle up and share a story with our parent visitors in the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who had the chance to attend. Well done to this week’s Stars for consistently demonstrating respect across our school to both adults and their peers.
We are also incredibly proud of our Year 5/6 children who represented the school brilliantly at GCA last night in the Glow Dodgeball competition. It was especially lovely to hear from staff at other schools about how well behaved our children were — it makes us all very proud. Thank you for representing our school so well.
Happy birthday to Austin, who celebrates this week. We hope you have a wonderful party.
Congratulations as well to our children who are excelling outside of school in Squirrels, dance, cricket and swimming. Keep up the amazing work!
