• UCLAN Christmas Science Lecture

  A scientific afternoon at UCLAN for all of KS2, learning about super Santa and whether he is stronger than Superman, faster than the Flash and with better hearing than Wonder Woman! We learnt about forensic evidence so the children can all check on Christmas morning whether he has been! They will be looking for finger prints, boot prints, hair follicles and teeth marks in mince pies!

  

• A visit to Bethlehem

  A fabulous visit to Great Eccleston Free Methodist Church this morning with Ash Class to revisit the Christmas Story and remember Jesus our Saviour came to bring us light, hope and love. We met Mary, Angel Gabriel, shepherds, travellers, wise men and even donkeys! What a great experience for the children.

• Great Fire of London Workshop

  Ash Class (Year 1) enjoyed an afternoon with Del from 'Delve into History' learning all about the Great Fire of London. They re-enacted some of the events from the fire starting to trying to put it out again.

  

• Professor Noel Fitpatrick- Vetman author visit

  Willow Class had a fabulous trip to Kirkham Grammar School to meet and listen to super vet and author Noel Fitzpatrick. Noel talked about his reasons for becoming a vet, as well as his motivation behind writing a children's book. He was very inspirational to listen to and told the children they must never give up on their dreams! 

  

• Gender Equality Badge

• Harvest Festival

  A fabulous turn out for our Harvest Festival service in church. All the generous gifts will be shared with our community and the Salvation Army.
