Huge congratulations to this week’s Stars who have demonstrated the value of love across our school — through their thoughtful actions towards others and by showing kindness and care to themselves. Congratulations to you all.

  • Talent Show

    Thu 22 Jan 2026

What an amazing night we had at our School Talent Show on Wednesday! 🌟
We were so proud of our fabulous group of talented children who absolutely blew us away with their efforts — from singing and dancing to piano playing, guitar and ukulele, roller skating, and even joke telling. Every single performer was FABULOUS! 👏🎤🎶

We were overwhelmed by the success of the evening and the incredible support from our parents. A huge thank you to the PTA for their help with setting up and selling refreshments, and to our three judges for making such difficult decisions — not an easy task with so much talent on display!

Thank you to Reverend Wilkinson, Mr Walters (our Chair of Governors), and Michelle Parry from Positive Footprints for judging the event.

    And finally, huge congratulations to:
🏆 Clover, our overall winner, for her beautiful performance of Jolene by Dolly Parton
💃 Alice for her stunning self-choreographed contemporary dance
🩰 Connie, Matilda and Sofia for Shaking Their Tail Feathers in their fantastic dance performance

Well done to everyone involved — what a night to remember! 💫💙

  • Storm Desmond - 10 years on.

    Mon 08 Dec 2025

Last week, we welcomed Nisha Hindocha from BBC Radio Lancashire into school. She interviewed Mrs Jackson and Mrs Carroll as it has been 10 years since Storm Desmond. Together, they discussed the impact the flood had on our school and community, as well as the measures we have put in place to help ensure such an event never happens again.

You can listen to the broadcast on BBC Sounds (02.12.25). Mrs Jackson can be heard at approximately 2 minutes 24 seconds into the programme, and Mrs Carroll at around 3 minutes 06 seconds.
