  Well done Beech Class on your wonderful assembly all about electricity. It was extremely interesting with lots of amazing facts, songs and poems. 

  

• A visit by Prince Harry

  The children had a fantastic time today meeting Prince Harry. He was in St. Michael's to officially open the village hall. Before his official duties he took time to meet the children and have a little chat with one or two of them, as well as hi-fiving many of them. We were all very excited!

  

• Open Day

  We will be holding an Open Day on Wednesday 11th October. We welcome both prospective and existing parents. If you would like to come and see school in action then please come and join us. Or, if you, or someone you know, has a child due to start school in September 2018 then we'd love to say hello.
  We will be open between 10.00 - 11.30am and 1.30 - 2.30pm. Every classroom will be open, and staff and pupils will be happy to meet you.

  Congratulations to our new house captains: Rafferty, Cara, Jake J, Kate, Millie and Oscar and to our Vice captains: Abbie, Everlyn, Alicia, Jamie, Joseph and Charlie. I am sure they will do a super job throughout the year supporting and encouraging their houses.

• Welcome Back!

  Good evening everyone, we hope you have had a wonderful summer holiday! We cannot wait to welcome you all back into school tomorrow as normal, where we will begin our day at 8:40am. A huge welcome also to our new Reception children and parents who we cannot wait to see.

  Breakfast Club is available from 7:30am in the morning for those of you needing it and After School is open until 5:30pm. All other clubs will begin the following week. Watch out for information about what's on!

  We look forward to seeing you all in the morning as we embark on another exciting school year at St. Michael's on Wyre C of E Primary School!

   

• Summer Concert

  A huge well done to all of our children who performed brilliantly in the Summer Concert. We had 4 fabulous shows over 2 days and every single child was amazing. For more pictures look in the gallery.

  

• Parents and Toddlers

  Our next Parents and Toddlers session will be this coming Wednesday, 12th July at 1:30 pm. Anyone with a toddler is welcome to come and join us for a stay and play. 

• Last Choir Singing Best Newcomer Award!

  A fantastic well done to our choir and Mrs Brabin for receiving the award of Best Newcomer during the Last Choir Singing Final competition on Friday 16th June. What a fabulous achievement for our young people. They sang beautifully and fully deserved their prize.
