  • People who help us- Police visit.

    The EYFS children thoroughly enjoyed their visit from PCSO Peter this afternoon, where they learned all about the role of the police and community support officers. As for Mrs. Hilton, we're not quite sure when she’ll be returning to class just yet!

    We've been enjoying our OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning this week with the new equipment donated by the PTA from the Grow your Pound profits. Great teamwork with the building blocks and some super dancing with the pom poms and outdoor radio!

    Congratulations to Sophie for receiving her Lancashire Reading Trail Gold Award this morning. It was lovely to have Mrs Allsop from the library, and a past member of staff, to present Sophie with her certificate.

    At St. Michael's on Wyre, as a proud part of the farming community, we encourage our children to be 'courageous advocates' by supporting important causes and standing up for others. Yesterday, we took part in 'Wear Our Wellies to School' to show our support for local farmers and the British Farming Industry.

  • Harvest Festival

    It was lovely to see so many families in church yesterday for our Harvest Festival. Thank you for all your generous donations. Some parcels have been distributed to members of St. Michael's community today and the remaining will be gifted to the Salvation Army's Bridge Project on Wednesday.

  • House Captains

    Meet this year's house captains- Adam, Emily, Sam, Belle, James and Esther. We are confident they will be amazing ambassadors for school and have already been busy with house captain duties running our Macmillan coffee morning earlier to day. Well done!
