River visit
Thu 05 Jun 2025Great walk for our Early Years group to the river this morning to see the construction vehicles in action as they work on repairing the riverbank. Lots of fun was had trying out the machinery

River Wyre Improvements
Wed 04 Jun 2025Willow Class had an excellent lesson delivered by Mark from AE Yates Limited! The children learnt about the vital role of civil engineers and the current work improving the bank of the River Wyre. After exploring the various roles within civil engineering, the children concluded the lesson with a hands-on project, designing and building their own roads and machinery. Tomorrow, they’ll have the exciting opportunity to see Mark’s company in action during a visit to the Rivermede site.

NSPCC Number Day
Fri 07 Feb 2025We had some fantastic outfits for Friday’s NSPCC Number Day, with rockstars, Bond characters, calculators, and numbers making an appearance! A big thank you for your support — we raised over £150 for the NSPCC, and the children had a wonderful time engaging in fun math activities throughout the day.

Wed 29 Jan 2025The EYFS children thoroughly enjoyed their visit from PCSO Peter this afternoon, where they learned all about the role of the police and community support officers. As for Mrs. Hilton, we're not quite sure when she’ll be returning to class just yet!

OPAL
Thu 23 Jan 2025We've been enjoying our OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning this week with the new equipment donated by the PTA from the Grow your Pound profits. Great teamwork with the building blocks and some super dancing with the pom poms and outdoor radio!

Yesterday, we took part in 'Wear Our Wellies to School' to show our support for local farmers and the British Farming Industry.
